Bought it last week for $359 at Dixie Gas in Martinez GA while there to refill my motorhome LP gas tank, I enjoy the grill very much, but couple days later was in ACE Hardware in Evans GA & noticed they sold the same product for $279, is this possible ?

I have owned the Companion for over 12 years and have used it so much I have had to replace the burner and the stainless grill cooking surface. It cooks everthing perfectly with no flare ups and I would never give it up. I also have a big green egg grill however I like the Companion much better. Easier to get started and use. Highly recommend

We have owned the Companion Portable Grill for a number of years. This is our RV traveling grill and we have cooked just about everything on it. We've done turkey for Thanksgiving to all sorts of seafood and meats. This grill cooks the most wonderful moist Salmon you could ask for. Shrimp and fresh veggies can't be beat! If we had any other portable we would have been through many in the years we've owned this one. No flare-ups means no squirt bottle which means no rust out. Adjustable stacks means great flavor imparted into your food. Portable - meaning easy set up and with the canvas carry bag - easy to transport. We carry along a 5# refillable propane tank to fuel ours.
It truly is the best portable grill we have ever owned and it was one of the best Christmas gifts to hubby. Men love their stuff!

I have owned a Vintage model for about 20 yearsand have bragged it up to anyone that will listen who looking to buy the best all around grill you can find.So when it was time to purchase a grill for my camper to replace what i have renamed the got to go grill, I saw the companion and told my wife that was the one to buy. So for my birthday guess what I got, I have had it for 5 to 6 years and use it on every trip and at home when we have large get togethers. Easy to use and clean, easy to store and move around. If you are looking for a grill do do it all and in a small package this is the one.

The Companion held its own in the five month kitchen remodel. We grilled chicken breasts, whole chickens, leg o' lamb roasts, lamb chops, Pork chops, Pork loin, Pork butt, Salmon fillets, Halibut and other fish, various meat skewers, steak, burgers and bunches of veggies. Hey, it works great! Gotta take your time. Enjoyed it so much, I took pictures and kept records of all grilling times. The grill really performed. Felt stupid in the end for just not buying an Apex from the start. Guess it'll be a future purchase. Funny thing is the Lynx grill was shut off during the remodel and the Big Green Egg just wasn't accessible. So I "made do" with the portable grill. It totally rocked. True, it took some getting used to but the Companion worked great. It is really well-made. I did purchase the conversion hose and ran it no problem through a 20-Lb LP tank. I'd recommend it to anyone seeking a portable grill, or a secondary, go-to grill. Need to try the Apex. Primary grill?

I have had a Companion for more than 5 years and love it. I have a big Holland grill for home and I use the Companion for tailgating and to augment cooking over the fire while camping.
