Using the Digital Temperature Probe

If you don't own a digital thermometer, get one! You'll thank me later when you find out how much easier it makes grilling.

Additional Information
Grilling meat to the proper temperature is important not only for safety, but also taste. Don't guess and whatever you do, DON"T cut into the meat to check for doneness--you let alot of the juices escape. Purchase a digital temperature probe and you'll be amazed how easy it is to grill a turkey, chicken, beef roast--or any other large portion of meat-- to perfection.
WHERE TO PLACE THE PROBE: Slide the probe into the turkey breast (or other thicker part of the meat) and be sure to not let it touch a bone. Place the thermometer unit on the side shelf, close the lid and wait for the beep. Turkey's, Boston Butt's, and whole chickens are done to perfection when the internal temperature of the meat reaches 180 degrees F. Once the meat reaches the temperature you selected, it will beep and it's time to eat!
