Bought Wrangler. Used it twice, and the plastic knob that turns gas on and off, has melted in the center. Called company, and they are sending new knob. But has anyone else experienced this?

@ skyrider

There is no reason the knob should get hot enough to melt unless you have a gas leak/fire under the control panel. This would most likely be at the hose/gas valve fitting.
Question: Your owners manual tells you to do 2 things that are your responsibility, the "Soapy water leak test" & the "Air-shutter adjustment".
Did you do the leak test?
