That you Holland! This was our first year to have a Thanksgiving turkey grilled at home on our new Holland Wrangler. This was the first time in 22 years that I have been married that ALL of the turkey was eaten on Thanksgiving Day! We have always had extra white meat left over and usually had to throw away because it was so dry from the very first serving. Not on the Holland, every piece of turkey was juicy and excellent. I used the Carolina Seasoning and a tray of hickory chips at the very first of the cook and the flavor was Great. 12 lb. turkey cooked in 2 1/2 hours. Our local Holland dealer keep telling me how good the turkeys would be but I have to admit I was a little skeptical. Turns out, it was even better than he said. From now on, all turkeys served at our house will come off of the Holland Grill!!

Congrats! I'm betting you'll be cooking another turkey at Christmas!

Whatever you do....don't lay a few strips of bacon on top of the turkey before you close the lid!

That turkey you describe sounds delicious! I will have to try it on my Wrangler!
