I'm ready to purchase a Holland and I found an Epic for $799. Does this sound like a good price or can I do better by shopping around? |

I paid $900 for mine, sounds like a great price you can get it for! The first thing to try on it is a whole turkey and then you will know its worth the price!! |

The minimum retail price if the Epic should be $829.00. This being said I'd buy the one for $799.00. Holland is supposed to enforce a MRP on these grills so before the retailer raises the price I'd snatch it up. |

Just for the record, The Holland Co. does not and can not tell any Holland Grill dealer what price they can sell a grill for. Each retailer sets their own "selling" price. We do, however, regulate a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP). We also establish a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)for each grill, but it's up to each individual dealer to determine what price they actually sell the grill for. --The Holland Grill Co. 12/20/2012 |

Holland can, if they wish, enforce a minimum selling price. Many companies do such as Tempurpedic. If a dealer sells a grill for less than $799.00 they are making it hard for dealers that do price matching to make any profit on these grills. |

From an earlier post:--The Holland Grill Co. 12/20/2012 "We do, however, regulate a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP). We also establish a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)for each grill, but it's up to each individual dealer to determine what price they actually sell the grill for."
Where is this info found?? |

The MAP info is sent out by the area reps. The problem is it is not enforced. |
