I was wondering if anyone knew if there was low pressure regulator valve that can be used on the companion instead of the high pressure one. I have a camper with a gas line plumbed underneath to hook up a camper stove but it is for low pressure and that won't work for the companion. I haven't had any luck. I really don't want to spend 200 bucks on a new grill made for campers when I have one I just need the right regulator.

Can you move the line on the camper from the feed side of the regulator to the load side? That way you would be getting the right pressure for the Companion regulator.I did that before I set my camper up permanently & now use a Epic.

@ Curt

Curt,
You need to come off your big LP tank BEFORE the tank regulator, then go through the Companion regulator. The Companion regulator should be the only regulator in the line.
If you come off the big tank after the tank regulator, then through the Companion regulator, you are double regulated & that won't work.

So the answer is no then?
My tanks are in the front of the trailer with the outdoor kitchen that has the low pressure quick connect gas line at the rear of the trailer.
There's a bumper mounted swing arm that swings the grill from the back to the side by the outdoor kitchen and I would consider permanently mounting the companion to that swing arm if I could operate it from the low pressure gas line.

Anyone know a way to make that work?
Thanks.

No way to increase low pressure to high presssure. If it were me, I would mount the companion, and run it with a 2 lb or 5 lb lp bottle. Don't give up on your Holland Grill. Nothing grills like a Holland. I have an rv and a Companion, thats the way we grill. Another option is to purchase a spare 20 lb tank if you grill alot while camping. I carry both several 2 lb tanks and a extra 20 lb tank, if traveling I use one of the 2 lb tanks, if camping for several days at the same spot, I use the extra 20 lb tank.
