First of all, I remove the brats from the package and put on a plate. I leave them out while the Holland is warming up so I don't put them on "cold". I let the grill get as hot as it will, which is usually about 400-450 degrees. I put them on to cook for 15 minutes and then turn and cook for another 10 minutes. This usually makes them nice and juicy...and hot! Put them on a sausage/brat roll, add mustard, onions and sauerkraut and I've got the perfect (for me) brat. Give it a try. You'll probably want to experiment with the time so you cook them just right for you. Skip |
