Happy 4th to everyone ! Has anyone tried grilling stuffed jalapeno's on the Holland ? I have been looking at different recipes on the web but just wondering if anyone has tried them on the Holland and how long you had to cook them. Any tips or suggestions are appreciated !

Thanks & Happy Grillin !

Have you tried stuffing jalapeno halves (de-veined and de-seeded) with a mixture of one package of Philadelphia cream cheese (softened) and a package of dry ranch dressing mix? Mix the two together and stuff the pepper halves and then wrap a strip of bacon around it, secured with a toothpick. Cook them at 250 degrees for about an hour or so (until the peppers start getting darker). They are larrapin!

Thanks for the suggestion JP...I'll have to try that one for sure. I just cooked 8 halves with the seeds and all removed (before I read your reply). I took some smoked sausage and crumbled it into the cream cheese, then stuffed the peppers and wrapped with bacon. I placed these on the grill for about 15 mins near the front of the grill and they turned out delicious !!!! I also made a couple halves without the sausage,(just cream cheese and bacon) but the cream cheese was overpowering and lacked the great flavor that the sausage really added to it. They only had just a little heat to them. Will certainly be fixing these again!
