Always fill the pan completely. Get it within a quarter inch of the top of the outside pan edge (don't just fill the trough, as one of my buddy's did). This will put your temperature at roughly 275F. As it happens, I did some crab legs just Saturday night. As you know, most crab legs are actually cooked shortly after being caught, and then flash frozen for transport and shipment. So all you're really doing is just reheating them. For large king crab legs or similar, go about 10 minutes. There is no need to flip them. For smaller legs, 7 or 8 minutes is about right. |

I would have just gone 10 total. But know you know and can adjust accordingly. |
