I'm getting ready to do a prime rib. Have my own ideas of how I might go about this, but wondered if anyone here has done one and how you went about it. Standard - 400+ F Never dried out anything else at that temp on the Holland. I'd use a roasting pan to catch the juices. Steamer mode - 275F That would put it at the lower temp most recommend and impart additional moisture into the meat. Cracked lid - 275 or 300F Open the lid a tad to keep the temp down and set the PR in a roasting pan to catch the juices. |
