Ken's Jalapeno Pepper Poppers
Holland's own Ken Camp submitted this awesome appetizer recipe which is sure to spice up your next cookout.
Cut Jalapenos in half (lengthwise) and scrape out seeds and ribs. Sprinkle Carolina seasoning on pepper; Layer cream cheese, sausage (remove casing) and cheese on pepper; Wrap with bacon, brush with oil and season with Carolina; place peppers, pepper-side down, directly on the cooking grid of your preheated Holland Grill. Cook for approximately 20-25 minutes until bacon is done. A taste bud tickler for sure!
Note: recipe originally called for Boudin sausage. If unavailable, substitute your favorite link sausage. Cut sausage in half, squeeze out of the casing and then cut in half lengthwise.
