My 6 week old wrangler not getting as hot
I have to wait about 30 min to get close to 400
And then when I put food on it stays at 300
Any ideas?


Have you cleaned your drip pan off? That has to be cleaned to keep it running at the right temp.


Be sure you are shutting it off properly. If you shut it off at the tank first you will cause it not to heat up. Do a regulator reset. Light the grill as you normally would, then shut it off at the grill & then turn off the tank. Then reopen the tank & re light your grill & see how it does.These newer style tanks with the OPD valves will get an air lock if turned off while being used.
Cleaning the drip pan will have some effect on the heat but I notice very little if any difference with mine when it gets build up on it.
