This is sort of hit and miss. Sometimes the grill heats up really well. Sometimes not so much. Latest example. We were just having two hamburgers. They were about 3/8 of an inch thick, maybe. The heater light on the heating element was off with it set in the high heat range. The absence of the light, I think, is to indicate that the grill has heated up into the high heat range. 400 degrees???? I cooked the burgers 12 minutes on each side. They were running blood, but they were still red except for a very thin layer on the outside of the burgers? Help!!!!!

Sounds like you might have burned out your controller. You need to call Holland for the correct advice.
