I am asking if the connection is normal between the regulator and the burner tube on the right side of the Companion grill? I see a small indentation on the top of the feeding tube that sorta lets the regulator enter the tube, but it does not "lock in or click in" when it is inserted. I can gently pull the unit out in several different positions. Should I make more of an "indentation on the tube to sorta lock in the regulator unit?

The loose fit is normal and will not affect your grill's performance.

Hi and thanks for your reply. I just assumed that the regulator should not be able to just be pulled out in any rotated position.
