Thaw and let stand to room temperature.

Season with coarse sea or kosher salt. Let stand another 30 minutes.

Put on Holland in steamer mode (275 to 300F).

Use an internal temp gauge and cook to 135F.

Remove, wrap loosely in foil and allow to stand for about 30 to 40 minutes.

Unwrap, slice and enjoy perfect prime rib.


Let stand to take chill off, coat liberally with kosher salt and fresh ground pepper. Can also sprinkle on some garlic salt. Cook to internal temp of 125 to 135 let rest covered with foil for 15 to 30 minutes.
