Topic Title: Blown Regulator

I have a Companion MG1, serial number M0010913. I got this as a gift in June of 2006. This last weekend the regulator was dumping full tank pressure into the grill. I had lit the grill, it was obviously acting normally, waited about 10 min to put the meat on and then walked away. I came back about 30 min later to check on the meat and turn when I found that the regulator was blowtorching my grill. The entire left rear corner of the grill, and grate was bright red. I do a lot of torch work in my job and this grill was running upwards of 2000deg. I've punched in my grill info into the parts replacement cart but I don't feel that I should have to pay for a new grate which is why I have written here.

I love this thing, especially when camping, and would hate to no longer be a loyal customer over a defective part.

Call Holland and they will help you with this problem.

Steve, I had problems with my regulator also, and Holland grasiously replaced it at no charge.
