If you smoke a turkey using the water and liquid smoke method found in the "manual", how much liqiud smoke should you use. Is this better than dry smoke?

i'm curious too

I just use a couple of those little tart pans filled with Hickory buds and put in each corners of the back under the cooking grate. The turkeys won't get as dark if you're using the water but believe me, they'll be juicy!

I have never used the liquid smoke, but be careful with smoke and poultry. It takes smoke very easily and you can easily over smoke a turkey. Last Thanksgiving I used 2/3 cup of Alder pellet, it gave a good smoke flavor without overpowering it.
