the demonstrator

the best is dawn power dissolver.it`s a blue bottle, just spray on and let set overnight, next day take soap and water and wash down might re-spray tough areas.won`t hurt the finish

Is it the dawn power dissolver dish detergent? Do you dilute it any & put it in a spray bottle? Not sure I found the correct stuff at my local grocery store.

Here is a picture from Dawn's Website

You can get it at Wal-Mart. Good stuff. Be carefully not to get it on the serial plate--it can take the paint off. But it sure cleans SS good.

I cleaneds my gas grill a couple days ago and that Dawn stuff worked good. Will nee a second coat in places though.

Has anyone used steel wool, in place of a brush, to clean the cooking grid and the drip pan? I want to try it but would like some advice before I do it.

Tom Kirkman

Use Easy Off Oven Cleaner. Spray liberally on all stainless steel parts (cover painted parts or rinse off immediately - remove drop aluminum drip pan) and wait 20 minutes. Rinse well with hose. Will look like new.

I use the "Mr Clean" like white scrub pads for the bathroom. They work great on stainless steel and don't scratch the finish.
