Has anyone done any steaming of veggies or seafood? How was it?


On New Years Eve, a friend (who also has a Holland Grill) split a bushel of oysters. It was really cold that night so we filled the drip pan with hot water (a couple of inches from the side, put the oysters on the grid, closed the lid and when the crack open (about an 1/8 of an inch), they are ready. We have also steamed pork loins using apple cider instead of water. We like to steam out veggies (put them in a tin pan) with garlic and butter for approximately 20 minutes.
