Nancy

I want to grill a beef tenderloin but I cannot find the estimated amount of time on the cooking chart for a beef tenderloin -
Should I follow the prime rib estimated time of 8-10 minutes per pound? Thanks

Paul

Nancy, there's a good recipe for a beef tenderloin on Hollands website. Cut and paste this link or look under RECIPES>Beef. I've cooked this one and it's unbelievable. I recommend using a digital temp probe and cook meat not over 145 in thick part. I go about 140. Time wise, it takes generally about 1 1/2 to 1hr 45 min to cook an average beef tenderloin. The key is the internal temp not going over about 140-145. Good luck. (I think you'd be fine following the temperature suggestion on the prime rib)
