I cooked a 7.5 lb turkey today.
It was raining and 45 degrees. I just waited till it reached 180 as usual. It did take longer (2 1/2 hours) but no prob.
Still moist and tasty.


This is our 13 lb turkey cooked in a roasting pan. I usually just set it directly on the cooking grid, but my wife wanted the drippings for gravy this year.
I sprayed it with butter spray, added Holland Carolina Seasoning & cooked it to 180 degrees internally. I did tent it with aluminum foil for the first 30 minutes so it wouldn't get too dark. Took 2 3/4 hrs.
My wife had the kitchen oven available for lots of other good stuff while the turkey was on the grill. Could not have been more juicy & tasty.


Where do you live Old Guy and is there any of that turkey left!! Beautiful.
