Does anyone have a great flat iron marinade or advice on grilling them on the Holland?

well, since nobody had ideas...i made a J.Daniels finishing sauce and a marinade. Served it to 13 family members and friends. They loved it.

Try Dale's seasoning. Heavy sodium/garlic- so DONT marinate full strength for a long time with that nice cut until you taste it. Unsure where you are, but our region likes it (North Alabama) and I found out the secret that the restaurant by the same name uses- long story, but it was a family restaurant, one heir asked for the restaurant and one heir got rights to bottle the sauce..hmmm-wonder who is richer? ANYWAY, the way I do it is take a mixture of melted butter/Dales. Roll the steak in the mix for a few minutes prior to cooking, toss it in the mix for a second when you turn them, and then LIGHTLY again right before you take it off. If it sux, add ketchup. HA! Not a Dale's promo here, but it is at least a contribution to your request.
