I use my grill daily how often should the drip pan be cleaned?

Jeff G

I scrape mine with a putty knife after every cook, the grill has better heat distribution that way.

@ Thomas

clean mine everytime I use it almost 22 years old and cooks and looks almost like new... Keep it clean and it will last a very long time

Does anyone out there ever clean the drip pan with Dawn Power Dissolver?

@ Joel

No. Just keep it scraped so it doesn't build up. My grill is 10 years old & the drip pan has always been scraped just before heating, along with the cooking grid.
If you don't let it build up, it doesn't take very long to get it ready to light. Using a high temp cooking spray makes it even easier.
