The first thing I want to say is that I love my grill. I have had it for 8-10 years.

My igniter stopped working so I took it upon myself to replace it. When I was removing the four bolts that attach the bottom portion of the grill to the cart. Model # BH421 SG5. Three of the bolts were badly rusted and broke off as I was removing them. I had to remove it from the cart to be able to get to the bolts to remove the metal plate over the burner. My question is the bolts bolt into a treaded 3/4" X 3/8" metal sheath in the bottom of the grill, are these sheaths attached to the bottom of the grill in the manufacturing process or just due to the time they have been there that they are stuck to the grill bottoms metal. I am trying to figure out how to remove it or will it require drilling out?

My second question pertains to the black paint around the top of the bottom where the metal grate sits. That area has peeled paint and i would like to maybe paint it to make it look a bit better. Can you tell me a good paint to use for that purpose.
