I found a Holland Tradition for sale at a good price. It was extremely dirty but solid and all parts there. After a major cleaning and repositioning the heat shield back into place (three bolts were missing causing it to skew out of place)it is a pretty good looking grill and the temp is getting to just a bit over 400 deg. after about 20 to 30 minutes of preheat.Since this is mid renge of the shaded area on the temp guage (and assuming the gage is accurate, does this sound right to those of you who have experience with this model?

Thanks,
Steve

400 is a good temp for the first generation Tradition (BH421SG-4), but is a bit low for a Tradition LS (BH421AG-3). The LS grills are later models & usually get closer to 450.
Find your model number & always identify it by that number to avoid confusion.
