Topic Title: onion soup burgers

I fixed 2lb. of hamburger with one pkg onion soup mix. Put on grill for eight min. per side burgers where done but the meat was red very dry.what did i do wrong?

Dry onion soup soaked up the juice & probably low fat ground meat which will always be drier.
