Topic Title: To Steam, or not to Steam

Going to Sams to buy either a Boston Butt or pork short ribs. Looking at the Pork section of the recipes, I don't see any reference to filling the steamer with water and apple juice.

SO....how do you cook ribs and pulled pork? Is it better using the steamer? How long do you do them?

Don't want to do TOO much experimenting with expensive meat.
