Okay at the risk of sounding dumb i have a question for anyone. On page 95 of the Holland cookbook for the ribs it says to place ribs into a grill proof container. Is this just referring to like a metal pan or something that can stand the temp?

@ Jay

Anything safe for the oven will be safe for the Holland grill. Aluminum baking pan, Pyrex baking dish, etc.
Have fun!

Jay

Thanks for the response. The ribs turned out great and I got 2 thumbs up and a huge smile from my picky 10 yr old son and my wife. Another reason I love my Holland grill.

Scott

How long did you put on for?

Jay

Scott, I went exactly by the recipe on page 95 of the Holland Grill Family Cookbook. Rub down with Olive oil and season with Carolina season and cook bone side down for 45 min. Then I put them in a oven/grill safe pan and put barbeque sauce on them and covered the container with aluminum foil. Cook for another 45 min. Then take out of pan and place back on grill for 15 min more. Very good and tender. Best way I have cooked them so far.

Scott

Ok, thanks.
