Topic Title: replacement lower unit

I've had my Holland Heritage for about twelve years and loved it. I replaced the bottom unit and now it cooks at a higher temp. Before it cooked at 300-350 degrees, Now it cooks at 400-450 degrees. Is this normal or do I need to adjust cooking times?

The new replacement EZ bottom kits contain many new design parts made from stainless steel or aluminum like the new grills have. It would be normal for an new EZ kit to get hotter than your old grill, especially when your older parts were getting worn out.
The newer model grills do heat better & faster than older models for the same reason.
