I generally cook mine about 30 minutes, but I always give it a squeeze to know for sure. Once the corn gets done it will be soft to the squeeze.

35 minutes for me up on the half rack. Now here's a great tip if you're cooking in the husk...

When you remove the ear of corn, cut through the stalk end at the point where the diameter gets large. Now grasp the tip end, husk, and lift and shake the cork. The cob will fall out and the husk and all the silk will stay with your fingers. You'll be left with an absolutely naked, silk-free ear of roasted corn on your plate. Easy and fast!
