Any suggestions for cooking fresh brisket.

i marinated one over night then cooked fat side up with the grill full of a water, apple cider vinegar, and liquid smoke mix for 3 hours. then put in a pan with a thin bbq sauce for 3 more hours. i kept water in the grill pan this whole time and also kept the grill lid opened with a small block to reduce the temp. my grill cooks around 425degrees and it was a very hot day. i probably could have cooked even longer, but it got great reviews! good luck.
