I have been using the Holland pizza stone with great success during the summer months. Now the days are shorter and cooler but I still want to cook pizza except now I need to cook them inside. Has anyone used the stone in a conventional electric oven? I think it will work but would like a little input from someone who has done this. Thanks.


Skip indoors there is really no need for the pizza stone, use a pizza pan or just on the oven rack


Pizza stone arrived chipped on the edge and Holland said I had to pay to send it back for them to evaluate but I wasn't going to do that due to cost. It is a soft stone so I got the edges smoothed out and used it in a conventional oven. Did great the first time with a frozen pizza, but when I got it out to use the second time, it looks like there is mildew on it. Cleaned that up and tried a frozen pizza again. It stuck to it and is a mess so now it's going straight in the trash. Very disappointed. Do not buy it, complete waste of money.
