Topic Title: SearMate's weight
Created on March 31, 2017 at 01:42 PM

Six or seven years ago I mounted a Searmate on my Tradition and use it quite a bit for steaks. However, it seems like it puts a lot of stress on the frame and is listing about 3 inches. I hate to take to off but I think it's going to collapse from the weight. Anyone had this happen or any suggestions?

The Tradition has been discontinued for many years. It was not stainless steel, but aluminized steel. Check the inside of the bottom housing around the burner & the top of the tank shield for corrosion, which could be causing the list to the side.
