In your time chart for cooking turkeys you STILL list 20 minutes per pound for a whole stuffed turkey. You should take this out or change it. I cooked a 22 pound turkey and at 20 min's per pound this would be over 7 hours. I took it off at 6 hours and it was over cooked. Yes the Thermo/Timer W/Probe would be best and I will get one BUT the 20 mins per pound is absurb and should be changed for those who do not have the probe. The time for a 22 pound turkey is about 4 to 5 hours.... Thanks

I blieve the time is 12 - 15 min. / lb. plus an addition 20 min. for the stuffing. I really advise a thermometer for meats w/ volume such as turkeys, whole chickens, meatloaf, roasts, loins, etc.

Don't blame the overcooking on the grill!

We cooked a 24 lb turkey on Christmas day. We started at 12:45 and it was ready at about 6:30 PM. We're up in Canada (Manitoba), so it was fairly cool outside - about -20C. We put our Apex in the garage to keep it out of the wind. The turkey was excellent & very moist.
