i have a rib-eye roast i want to cook for Christmas but i cant find how long to cook it per pound if anyone can help that would be great

If you are going to spend the money to get a good rib-eye roast, I would advise getting a thermometer and putting it in the middle of the roast. Medium Rare is 145 degrees, just be aware that the roast will continue to cook while its resting, probably about 10 degrees for a normal sized roast.
