Where can I found the beer chicken receipe and how long this chicken need to be cooked.

Please advise.

Also how would you season the chicken.

Beer chickens take about the same time to cook as regular--about 20 minutes per pound. Use a digital thermometer and chicken is done when breast temp reaches 180. Only use about a 1/2 inch or so of beer in the can--it needs to boil and steam. Cover the chicken with Brad's Carolina seasoning. My brother puts thin slices of lime under the skin for flavor.

I found this recipe for beer or cola can chicken on Holland's website under RECIPES>Poultry. Here's the link to cut and paste if you want.

I cook two at a time. I fill the bottom of my grill up with water and steam them also! Usually it takes 2-3 hours. I rub the outside and inside with olive oil and generously season with Cavenders all purpose Greek seasoning. It's awesome. I put a small apple or potato in the neck to keep beer steam inside. Now your making me hungry.
