You guys have got to try this!

1 can crushed pineapple (unsweetened)
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 TBLSP soy sauce
1 TBLSP fresh ginger (I used powdered)
1 clove crushed garlic (I used the minced in a jar)
12 chicken legs

Blend the marinade, and let the legs soak it up overnite. Then preheat the Holland, and follow the time chart. These will blow you away! Crack open a beer and get ready for awesomeness! I was going to attach a picture, but we ate them too fast! Trust me when I say it looked like a picture out of "Food & Wine".

Hey Steve,

Couple of questions...

1 - Do you drain the pineapple juice off or just add it all in ?

2 - You say to "blend" the marinade. Does this actually need to go in a blender or you just mean mixing it all together real good ?

Sorry for the dingy questions, but this sounds really good and I would like to get it right the first time !

This thing is pretty forgiving, apparently. Aside from the changes I indicated, I also didn't run this mix thru the blender. Everything goes in the ziplock, and forget about it until you're ready. I also cut the recipe in half, since it was just me and the wife. (Good thing, because I'd have eaten the full recipe if I'd made it.)

Yes, use juice and all. (preferrably unsweetened)

I merely put the blender part in, because the recipe asked for it.
