Has anyone cooked a pork loin on a holland grill. We have only had ours for 2 months and we are still learning. How long does it take, did you marinade it or cook it without marinade?? Thanks in advance

Hey Mike. By far, whole pork loins are one of the best things you can cook on a Holland Grill. No need to get fancy--just coat it with your favorite dry rub (I use Holland's Rump Shake and Carolina Seasoning) put it on the grill and forget about it. You can pour on your favorite BBQ sauce the last half hour if you want. A normal size loin will take about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Use a meat thermometer and don't let the meat get over 160 degrees internal temperature. They've got a couple of recipes on their website. What time is dinner?

Thanks for the info - we are going to try it that way. We are also putting a turkey on at the same time - feeding 30 people for in-law's 55th anniversary.

I rub the loin with olive oil then carolina seasoning. I stab it and put garlic slices in the stab holes, then I use a meat thermometer and cook to suggested temp. Tastes great!

Do you flip the loin, or keep it on one side?

Stan--I keep the loin fat side-down (even thought there's not much fat). I never turn it. Just use the temperature probe and cook to 160-165 degrees (internal temperature of the meat). You can't beat it.
