I bought a holland in January of this year and my igniter does not work. It seems that the contacts are worn out. When I turn the knob, it seems to turn easier. I also checked the space on the electrode and it seems to be set correct. Any help would be appreciated.

Is your igniter knob slipping on the igniter stem? Is it stripped so it is not turning the igniter?
I learned the hard way that there is a locked position that the knob has to be in. You have to be sure the knob is pushed firmly down all the way into that locked position or it will eventually strip.
If this is not the case, the igniter components have a 1 year warranty.

Thanks... The knob was all the way in. The knob is not stripped it turns the internal mechanism when I twist it. I believe it is the internal cliker that has stripped out some. It seems to a plastic gear and may have stripped. i'm happy that it is still under warranty. I will have to call Holland and get another shipped out to me.
