since i switched to nat. gas my apex doesn't lite as easy. used to lite first turn. now it takes a bunch of turns . yes it is sparking each turn. any one esle se a difference when changing over?

Wrong orifice, gas/air mixture too lean (need blue flame with yellow tips) or narrow spark gap (should be at least 1/4"). If you have the correct gas mixture flowing over a strong spark, it will ignite.
If all the above is correct, no difference in lighting with LP or NG.

Just wondering how many seconds you wait before lighting, have you tried witing a few more seconds and see if it fires up?

i think gap was too big thanks
