Pork butts that is. I followed the recipe from the site. It truly came out great. The only thing I di different was to put some foil containers full of wood chips in the bottom of the grill. In addition, I filled the smoking drawer and 6 hrs later mmmmm!


I use that same recipe I lovr my reunion because I can do 4 at a time and at the end after pulling it I put into 4 aluminum pans mix different BBQ sauce into 3 and put back on the grill for about 20 min. and dig in it comes out totally awsome



I just saw the recipe for Bodacious butts and it sounds good, I will have to try that next time. What I have been doing when I cook boston butts is rub it down real good with Brad's Carolina seasoning, then just put it on the grill fat side up, and let it cook for about 5-6 hours, until it reaches 190 degrees. I never lift the lid until the 4 hr mark to check the temperture. It just pulls right off. I get asked to cook them anytime we have a family or friend gathering.


You've got to try that bodacious butt recipe. Its really good and gives you a great, different flavor. One thing I do too is after I grill the butt for about 4 hours to 180, I double wrap in in heavy foil, very tight, and then put it in a cooler for about 3 hours. It's ready to eat then and you can barely take it out of the cooler because the meat literally falls off the bone.
